The latest voting figures in in the Iraqi election seem to suggest that the turnout will be about 40%. The figures on which this is based are for the 13 provinces so far declared. This does not include the Sunni provinces where the insurgency is strongest and where a large proportion of the electorate was not expected to vote. How credible is an election with less than a 40% turnout Mark Styeyn.
